Somewhere

Far beyond what we can see
There is nothing
Nothing for us to see
Nothing for us to feel
But we still reach out there
In our hopes
In our dreams
We seek what is not there
We think we have found it
The unknown which we sought
But it is just the lies of our fallen

Those fallen have their own wants
Their own needs and desires
To put us through a test
That no one has passed
In their hopes
In their dreams
They seek what we have
They think they have found it
The life we do not seek
But it is just the lies of their future

Empty Eyes

Empty Eyes

Looking up into his eyes I saw nothing.
The void has a deep hold on his mind.
Draining all that he holds dear.
Stealing away from him and his life.
The colors of his soul meld into a deep black.
Should I help him?
End his suffering?
Is he suffering?
Could this make him happy?
this numbness...
I gave it to him...
I dwell alone in this pit...
But now...
He is my pet.

Is this a dream?

A poem, by Cayrat
When I am alone, I hear them,
Voices..
They call out to me...
Am I awake?
Am I hearing things?
If this is not real...
Why am I trapped in this nightmare?
I Want To Wake Up!

Ready, Aim, Fire!

Here is a old short story from my freshman year.

I stood against the cold, bloody, stone wall. The rain poured down like the sky was crying for me, I wish it would stop.... but it didn’t. I knew my time has come, I was not meant to be here any longer. As I gripped the dull blade in my pocket, I could feel it cutting into my skin, it didn’t feel right. As I looked up into the eyes of the men standing before me, I watched the one on the far left tremble in the cold of this rainy, darkening, dusk.
